05/21/2005 My name is Ana Medeiros. I had struggled with my excessive weight problems for the past 20 years. I could not break the pattern of losing and regaining the weight. On November 2003, I underwent gastric bypass surgery. I have since lost 180 lbs. I signed up for the Cardio Kickboxing classes at Agostini's Academy of Martial Arts & Fitness, Inc. Sensei John and Debora have been instrumental in providing me with advice and emotional support. The Cardio Kickboxing program has given me the opportunity to lose fat, add muscle and overall definition. The classes are interesting, challenging and effective. My body changed and I actually look forward to going to the gym. My blood pressure is at an all time low for me. I went down 4 dress sizes in only 2 months! See you at the gym!!

03/10/2005 My name is Lori. I am a 41 year old mother of 2. About 3 years ago, I reached my highest weight of close to 300 lbs. I had no energy, my blood pressure was up and I just felt stressed all the time. I changed my eating habits and started to drop weight, but I still had no energy and although I was weighing less it seemed that I wasn't "shrinking". I was all droop and flab.
After one of my son's karate classes, John & Deb asked me if I was coming to Cardio class. I decided to give it a try. The first class was rough. I thought I would die, but I didn't. I felt better. I was hooked. It has been 2.5 years. I've lost 100 lbs and am keeping it off. I have energy and strength. My body is toning up. My pressure is down and my husband is thrilled. I feel HEALTHY. I am in better shape now that I was at 30. I made it through the holidays with NO weight GAIN. I now also take the Total Body Workout class for strength and toning, but I take Zumba for FUN!
Thanks to the support of John & Debbie. I know I can be better, look better & be healthy. They taught me a life change so that I am able to reach my goals. Thank you John & Debbie.
